The 110X160X12CRWH1R is a radial shaft seal from SKF, a trusted manufacturer and industry leader. CRWH1 types are low-friction seals with a double steel case outside, a nitrile rubber SKF WAVE lip design, and a carbon steel garter spring. The metal outside ensures easy installation while maintaining a firm, accurate bore fit. SKF WAVE lips are designed to reduce friction and heat generation while pumping lubrication back into the bearing and expelling contaminants. At Quality Bearings Online, we offer a comprehensive range of high quality and reliable low-friction radial shaft seals, including the SKF CRW1, CRWA1, and CRWH1 lines. These seals are expertly designed to retain lubrication, but they can also be used to protect against contaminants. Extensive experience, research, and material development by SKF have produced the robust nitrilerubber with resistance to aging, excellent pumping ability, and wear resistance. SKF WAVE seals signify a hugely important development in the design of radial shaft seals. They are made using a special mould form which gives the seals hydrodynamic properties. WAVE seals are able to reduce friction between the shaft and lip (up to 20% reduction compared to standard lips) and therefore reduce heat generation at the point of contact. This design also generates a higher pumping rate, pumping lubrication back into the bearing and expelling contaminants.
Constructed from high-grade steel for the double metal case and SKF’s Nitrile Rubber for the lip, the 110X160X12CRWH1R has been purposely manufactured by SKF to provide excellent wear resistance and high radial stiffness for use in severe conditions.
